Newcomp Analytics is a proud supporter of the Higher Education Analytics Community. Membership to the community is complimentary and open to members of the post-secondary community in Ontario. The goal of this group is to support the advancement of the post-secondary education sector in Ontario by developing expert capability in analytics using IBM analytics and business intelligence tools.
This members’ only portal allows you to engage in discussions with your peers as well as the group’s private sector partners. Throughout the year, we host a series of members-only events, including webinars and in-person events. Our most recent webinar focused on using analytics to predict student retention while past events have covered best practices in analytics and report templates. Last spring, the group met in Kitchener for it’s first conference which provided the higher education-specific training for Cognos 10. Membership will give you access to resources including recordings and videos from past events.
