The Higher Education Analytics Community continues to share the stories of our colleges and universities through their successes and challenges with data analytics.

In this webinar, we’re excited to feature The University of Waterloo’s journey towards developing a prototype model in Python that will help predict student enrollment over the next 3 years.

The University of Waterloo faces a unique scenario. They have North America’s most extensive co-op program and are open year-round, making it difficult for many out-of-the-box predictive tools to forecast student enrollment accurately. By using an open-source tool like Python and combining it with Tableau’s data preparation and reporting capabilities, the school developed a more detailed model that predicts student enrollment – and one that works!

Although the model is still in the testing phase, you’ll get a chance to see how it works in Python and how the project is elevated with Tableau Prep and Tableau Desktop to dynamically create transitions and visualize data! Join us on November 3rd to learn more.
