  • TABD01G - Tableau Desktop I: Fundamentals or equivalent experience
  • TABD02G - Tableau Desktop II: Intermediate or equivalent experience

TABD01G – Tableau Desktop I: Fundamentals – (In-Classroom)

This course allows students to build a solid foundation in Tableau, regardless of technical or analytical background. Students will learn how to navigate the interface and examine the core concepts and techniques in Tableau. Students will explore how to create simple and complex visualizations and how to combine them in interactive dashboards. At the end of the course, students will be able to understand Tableau technology, along with how to easily connect to their data through the interface and create powerful visualizations. Students will create basic calculations including basic arithmetic calculations, custom aggregations and ratios, date math, and quick table calculations. TABD02G – Tableau Desktop II: Intermediate – (In-Classroom)

This course allows students to expand their skills and distinguish themselves as a Tableau power user. Students will learn how to build advanced chart types and visualizations, as well as complex calculations to manipulate their data. This course is designed for students who want to take their understanding up a level and implement statistical techniques, advanced geographical mapping techniques, and build better dashboards using techniques for guided analytics and best visualization practices.
